PICK UP

These words are used to refer about a kind of vehicle where people transport heavy load. Example: I have bought a Chevrolet pick up, it´s comfortable and I can transport all my camping equipment.




PICK UP as phrasal verb



These words are used to talk about to picking up something.

Example: Who pick up your sister tomorrow at the airport? I´ll pick her up.








FIND



This word is used when people discover something by accident.

Example: George has found his ring under the bed.







FIND OUT as phrasal verb



These words are used to talk about discoveries or discover something after searching.

Example: Mr. Howard Carter found out Tutankhamun's tomb.










GHETTO



Ghetto is a neighborhood where group´s members live, generally that group has a specifical characteristic, ethnic, religious or social status.

Example:  David has never been rich, he lives in Tel Aviv (Israel) in a Ghetto for poorer Jews.






GIG



Gig is a temporary job; people have a gig while find the job that people want.

Example: Victoria applied for a gig in Coffe Shop, she wants to work as a waitress while she studies business international. After she would work in Apple Company.






DIG



When people plan to go to vacation, people think in a place where to sleep or rest, this is dig.

Example: Lorena plans to go to Rome, she called to agency, the seller offered to her a plan with share dig, three foods a free bar.









DUD



This word is used to talk about something that doesn’t work or was a disaster.

Example: My cellphone is a dud. A week ago didn´t start.
