PICK UP

These words are used to refer about a kind of vehicle where people transport heavy load. Example: I have bought a Chevrolet pick up, it´s comfortable and I can transport all my camping equipment.

SLOPPY = LACK OF NEATNESS; UNTID

Showing or in the habit of using little care or attention: sloppy use of language; a sloppy researcher.

COLLOQUIAL EXPRESSIONS

Buddy: Is a person who is very close to you. You can trust your secrets, and anytime you needed They will be there for you.

Ey Buddy!!! We need to talk, there is something I want to tell you, It is a secret and is very important to me. Can We meet this afternoon to talk? Let me know please Buddy.

Come on: It is a verb that can be used in many ways, for example When you are waiting for someone who is taking to much time and You are hurry, so You can say: Ey Buddy Come on! We are late.

Glam up: This verb can be used for example when women want to look beautiful, when they  use clothes very attractive for a party or a social meeting.

Martha glams up for her wedding´s sister.   

Make up:   Is when you are angry with someone, but then You realiced that is a waste of time to do it. So you forget this event and You continue your life normally.

Martha used to be angry with her brother so frequently, but now She makes up very quickly with him.

Gusty: When a person show a big emotion or temperament   

Martha had a bad day, but She talked with her best friend and now She looks gusty and now she has a different attitude.

Straight shooter

Straight shooter is a colloquial expression that refers to a honest person, it is composed by the union of the words Straight that means direct and shooter that means a person who fires a gun.


The honest people are not so well accepted in society, because we say: “we like people be honest” but when people say the truth bother us the majority of times, we deny that it is true because “The truth hurts”


Some honest person doesn’t think, they just say it spontaneously and often abrupt, it´s not what they say if not the way they say it.


At present with high levels of violence and intolerance that lives in streets, schools and families, the honest people are in the middle of conflicts. The people to be well with others and to belong to a group lose their personal integrity and what defines them as unique and irreplaceable beings.



Being a honest person is a good choice.

My mother is the more straight shooter.

Pesky

The word Pesky associate to something or someone that disturb, not only define to a person, also can be a noise, a situation, a smell. This is considered irritating, it's very relative to each person, its pleasure, state of mind, experience previous, personality among others.

My friend is pesky with the girls.

Gut feeling

Gut feeling is compound for the words Gut that means punch and Feeling is a sensation, it´s define colloquially as a presentiment, that is to, a emotion very common that generally happens in difficult situations, not expected in which the concern and the stress play a important role in our organism, in the same way producing something physical that can be a vacuum, tightness or nervousness.

It´s a word that also affect us positively, that is to say, there are Gut feeling good of faith and expectation.

There isn't logical or rational reason that can define a Gut feeling.

There are Gut feelings that accomplish, other only are presentiment without result in our lives.

Philosophers as Descartes have searched the correct definition of the concept “Gut feeling”, that accomplish in a near future, but they have failed to define why most people have these kind of thinking or emotion.
